Ingredients

  • 3–4 boiled potatoes (cubed)

  • 1–2 tsp whole cumin seeds (jeera)

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 2 green chillies

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • Salt to taste 

Method

Step 1: Build the Base

  • Heat oil in a pan

  • Add cumin seeds and let them crackle

  • Add green chilies and sauté briefly

 This step releases the natural aroma of jeera

Step 2: Toss the Potatoes

  • Add boiled potatoes

  • Sprinkle turmeric and salt

  • Toss gently to coat evenly

Step 3: Crisp & Finish

  • Cook on medium flame for 5–7 minutes

  • Let edges turn slightly crisp
